Hi! I’m Nat. Not Nate.
I’m a full-grown adult (supposedly) who enjoys taking pictures of toys – mostly Funko Pops and Mystery Minis, along with NECA figures, Lego and occasional Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. I’m really into to taking photos of classic horror and sci-fi figures, but also love taking photos of cute creatures and the like.
Gear used
I started out in toy photography using regular point and shoot digital cameras like Canon Powerhots and Nikon Coolpix and then mostly Android phones. I treated myself to a mirrorless Canon M200 paired with their 50mm for a majority of my shots and a 28-135mm for the rest. I also got a Camp Snap camera I like to use to take random photos as well. I also use a variety of LED lights from Ulanzi and Neewer. I hope to get a portable fog machine someday to get some more atmospheric shots.

Software and apps used
A majority of my photos are edited using an app called Snapseed. I also play around with Adobe Lightroom a lot. I back up everything using Google Photos, but hope to get a NAS some day
Backgrounds and props
I like to use a lot of backgrounds for my photography using scrapbook paper for both the backdrop and floors, and add cool little details with miniatures. I occasionally make dioramas for my photos as well.
